Return and Refund Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Kazentic is a software subscription service operated by Deepchain Labs ("we", "our", or "us"). Because nothing physical is shipped, there is nothing to return; this policy explains when a payment can be refunded, how to ask for a refund, and how long it takes to reach you.
1. Free trial first
Every paid plan starts with a free trial, and the Free plan has no time limit. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure Kazentic fits your team before you pay, so that a refund is rarely needed.
2. When you are eligible for a refund
- First payment: if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment on a paid plan, you can ask for a full refund of that payment.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges: if you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling, the extra amount is refunded in full.
- Service faults: if a fault on our side stops you using Kazentic for a substantial part of a billing period, we refund that period in proportion to the time lost.
- Annual plans: an annual subscription cancelled within 7 days of payment is refunded in full. After that, the unused months are credited to your account rather than refunded, unless the law in your country says otherwise.
3. What is not refunded
- Monthly renewals once more than 7 days have passed since the charge.
- Periods during which the workspace was actively used after a refund request was declined.
- Charges made more than 90 days before the request.
- Accounts closed for breaking our Terms & Conditions.
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges; it does not by itself trigger a refund of past ones. Your workspace stays available until the end of the period you have paid for.
4. How to request a refund
Email info@kazentic.com from the address on the account, or use the contact form, with:
- the name of your workspace and the billing email;
- the date and amount of the payment;
- the reason for the request.
We reply within 2 working days to confirm whether the request is approved, or to ask for any detail we still need.
5. Refund timeline
Once a refund is approved, it is issued to the original payment method. The money reaches you within 7 to 10 working days of approval. Cards, mobile wallets and bank transfers can each take a little longer on the provider's side; if nothing has arrived after 10 working days, contact us and we will trace the payment with the provider.
- Refunds are made in the currency and to the method you paid with.
- Bank or provider fees charged when you paid are outside our control and are not refunded.
- For annual plans refunded in part, the amount is worked out from the unused full months.
6. Downgrades and cancellations
You can cancel or downgrade at any time from your workspace settings. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refund is made for the remaining days, unless one of the cases in section 2 applies.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country. Where those laws give you more than this policy does, the law applies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the version in force on the day you paid applies to that payment.
